The focus of our Super Sunday ministry is on connecting the hearts of parents and children to God and to one another. We believe that "family" matters, and it is our desire to help equip the families of our church and community to better know and serve the Lord. Super Sunday is a place for the entire family to come together to worship the Lord while having fun as well!
So, how do we do this? For over a year now we have held our Super Sunday ministry on the first Sunday night of each month. Through a variety of creative events and worship services, we have sought to strengthen the core of our church: the family. As we move into a new year of this ministry we will see a combination of worship nights and family events, as well as the new opportunity for you to become a part of a Family Life Group. Finally, this blog is a new feature to the ministry that will be used to post family devotional ideas, pictures, and other items related to encouraging the families who come out to Super Sunday. Be sure to check back September 1st for some family devotional helps!
Please join us Sunday, September 9th, at 6 PM for our first Super Sunday family worship night! (Yes, because of Labor Day we are kicking off on the Second Sunday of September!) There will be singing, family prayer, and teaching from the Bible aimed at parents and children. There may even be a few special surprises! Super Sunday is focused on families but open to anyone. We hope to meet you there!
